MY GO-TO GOLDEN MAKEUP LOOK

Hiya you beautiful lot! I'm back again with some pictures I wanted to share with you, of my golden eye makeup look with a little bit of glitter in the tear duck - I am OBSESSED with this look recently!

If you didn't know already but the orange tone eye shadows work perfectly with blue eyes, and make them 'pop!' lol, so I love going for the orange tone eye shadows at the moment.

MY GO TO HIGHLIGHTING COMBO!

 

Benefit Watts Up Highlighter

As promised, I wanted to share my two highlighting combo's.

over a year ago when highlighting became a 'thing', not gonna lie, I was scared to 'over do it' or put it in the wrong place etc etc. but I am proud to say that I am no longer afraid and I am pretty good at it now lol

Just a quick breakdown of how I apply them both, because I think this was my problem ( and a lot of people's!) lets face it, you could have all the best brand products and all the best brushes and beauty blenders and STILL not apply your makeup correctly!

once I have done my base (foundation, concealer, eyebrows)

I apply the Benefit Watts Up cream highlighter with my finger and 'dab' it where I like ( cheek bones, nose, above top lip etc) I find this gives such a natural glow and sometimes I just stop at this step.

Then I go in with my TheBalm highlighter (which I LOVE) and I also just 'dab' or press it onto where I used the Benefit highlighter, the powder seems to hold it in place and gives you that amazing glow!

you know that kinda glow that makes you go 'Ouuuu girl' - only you makeup lovers get excited about that glow ;) ha

I am back again with a handful of my favourite products that I have religiously used/ re-purchased throughout 2016!

I cant believe Christmas is in 5 days either!? are you guys all prepared?

Maybe some of these products would be perfect stocking fillers!!

One of my favourite highlighters! perfect and buildable (for you ladies that LOVE that glow) without being cakey. I will be doing another post, sharing my highlight combo!

theBalm Mary Lou manizer highlighter - £17.50

My love for NYX will be forever! I just cant get enough of their matte lip creams! (their glosses are amazing too!!) so affordable and soo many shades to choose from.

NYX Matte Lip Creams - £5.50

These two have only recently at the end of summer become a favourite, I wanted them for a lot longer but finally found them, in beauty base. good coverage! very little needed and so affordable!

L.A Girl HD Pro Concealer - £3.99

These two in the summer months were my all time go to! particularly for you girls with curly/wavey hair, or if you have some frizz! I have lost count on the amount of times I have re-purchased the argon oil, I have done posts on this one previously too. Both smell amazing, not heavy on the hair and do the job and more!

Aussie Mousse - £4.99

OGX Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil - £4.90

Full coverage, creamy and not heavy or cakey looking. Very popular for a good reason, It does everything that it says. I am so glad I finally got myself into this product after debating what shade etc. It is worth every penny!

Nars cosmetics Radiant Creamy Concealer - £22.50

forever my favourite cream bronzer! this is all I use in the summer an I love it!

I have been re buying and using this product for at least 3 years now and I think I always will.

Chanel - Soleil Tan De Chanel - £32.00

GLOWY BRONZED MAKEUP

MY FAVOURITE MATTE BRONZER: BENEFIT

 

 HOOLA BRONZER

 

Hi guys!

I suppose this is not the first time that someone has spoke highly of this matte bronzer, so here I am giving you my thoughts lol

I have had this in my makeup collection for so long, and I fell back in love with it again. I was using my Chanel cream bronzer for so long and then when I used this I just couldn't resist. it is just my perfect shade, and it suits a lot of skin tones, you deffo get the bronzed look and it doesn't have too many orange under tones, which I why I think it is just a perfect matte bronzer. I found it works perfectly when contouring (with a light hand) and it doesn't/hasn't broke me out either. This bronzer is so worth the money and I have found that sometimes you get what you pay for, and this is a prime example! I got mine from Debenhams, when they had a discount going around, but it averages at about £23.00.

 

Let me know if any of you have a favourite bronzer! I am always looking out for new bronzers to try.

MY FAVOURITE MASCARA

BENEFIT THEY'RE REAL MASCARA

Now ladies.. I have not come across a better mascara than this beauty! As I am getting older, I am following my mums advice (years and years later lol) when it comes to you pay for what you get most times and this is pure proof that it is true. 

I have tried probably all of the half decent drugstore ones but with this I haven't found a fault at all! No clumps, the perfect amount of product on the brush and of course it makes my super long eyelashes even longer! lol. I have purchased this 4 times now since I first tried it and I haven't looked back since! I am constantly getting compliments on my lashes when I have this on! It's very popular and an award winning product and I would deffo recommend you try it!

'Watts Up' Gee? - Benefit Highlighter

My new love!

So a few weeks ago, when the Kardashian/Jenner's launches their new Apps. I of course follow all the sisters, ( I am only subscribed to Kylie and Khloe now though lol) and whilst watching one of Kim's makeup tutorial's, her makeup artist used this product and set it with a powder Highlighter. 

It is just beautiful! I got it off ASOS, when there was a cheeky discount going on. But originally, it's £24. It's worth every penny, it just gives a lovely glow. It gives such a different glow to powder, and until you have tried a cream highlighter, you will not know the difference!
